Yoshi started RusBureau as he views that Russia has vast potential as an economic and cultural power as well as a market, and there is a unique opportunity in helping businesses communicating with Russian partners as the cultural differences and ignorance about them run so deep.

He has extensive experience in research, analyses and writing in the areas of Economics and Business as a consultant for major financial firms in the US and UK. Before that, he served as a director of research responsible for central/eastern Europe in a British intelligence firm. He also worked as a manager of the IT department of a major US consumer goods company.

He received a Master degree in Financial Economics and a postgraduate diploma in Economics from the University of London in the UK, as well as a Master degree and Bachelor degree in Information Science from Kyoto University in Japan.
